Tim began his career in California, showing successfully up through the Grand Prix level. He is an accomplished rider, trainer and coach, bringing a wealth of experience to Foxcroft. Throughout his career, Tim has coached numerous hunter, equitation and jumper champions. His students have earned ribbons at many of the top horse shows including Devon, Harrisburg, Washington, and the National Horseshow. He has also traveled extensively – both domestically and internationally – to purchase horses and is extremely adept at matching horse and rider to create winning combinations. Tim enjoys working with riders at every level and has a proven track record for helping riders to progress successfully through the ranks.
Juliana has been riding for over 15 years, competing successfully in the hunter, jumper, and equitation rings. She’s shown extensively throughout her career in the Southeast, winning champion honors in many divisions at ‘A’ and ‘AA’ rated shows. She had a very successful experience competing in IEA, qualifying for Nationals her first year. Her experience has been a valuable asset to Foxcroft, where she serves as an assistant coach for our IEA team and also provides instruction to our up & coming riders. Juliana also enjoys training off-the-track thoroughbreds, giving them new careers as hunter/jumpers, and is currently training her own young horse, Benelli, whom she keeps at Foxcroft.
Instructor / IEA Coach
Kate began riding horses at an early age while living on the family farm in NE Iowa. She showed Paint Horses in the Hunt Seat and Western divisions and earned APHA Youth and Open championships. While attending Stephens College in Columbia, MO, she rode and showed hunters with the school’s stable. She was a competitor on the ‘A’ circuit for over 15 years in the Adult Equitation, Medals and Hunters. She has extensive experience in sales & marketing, and now focuses her attention on teaching riders of all ages the fundamentals and basics of riding and good horsemanship. Kate is the coach and trainer for Foxcroft’s IEA program. Kate joined the Foxcroft team in 2010. Much of her time is spent working with our IEA students and equitation riders as well as riding and training various horses.
Ava grew up riding horses from almost day one. Always in the company of horses, she has shown successfully in equitation and hunters around Georgia and the Southeast. Ava has worked at multiple summer camps, teaching children fundamentals of riding and horsemanship, as she knows that the true "horse person" cultivates understanding and knowledge on and off the horse. Ava competed in IEA from 6th through 12th grade, qualifying for regionals, zones and nationals multiple times. She captained her Pace Academy IEA team her junior and senior years of high school, deepening her leadership and instructional horse and people skills. She brings that strong IEA knowledge-bank forward when also assisting the Foxcroft IEA team. Ava attends Georgia State University, majoring in Political Science and minoring in Philosophy. For her, the most satisfying part of coaching is seeing confidence grow in her students -- on and off the horse.
