Kate began riding horses at an early age while living on the family farm in NE Iowa. She showed Paint Horses in the Hunt Seat and Western divisions and earned APHA Youth and Open championships. While attending Stephens College in Columbia, MO, she rode and showed hunters with the school's stable. She was a competitor on the 'A' circuit for over 15 years in the Adult Equitation, Medals and Hunters. She has extensive experience in sales & marketing, and now focuses her attention on teaching riders, of all ages, the fundamentals and basics of riding and good horsemanship.
